Idea Books 8888 and 8889

I recently acquired the two first Technic Idea books.
The pictures included leave me hungry for more.
Is there anyone here who has built the larger models AND took some pictures of
them ? I would be anxious to see them (and any variation made to them)
The first one I will try will probably be the programmable crane. I easily have
enough parts to build everything, but I don't have the old (pre-1980)battery box
that fits behind the cab so I will have to improvise.

| When I was approx. 16 years, I built (URL) this> (book 8889, pages 38-41). Lousy picture, I know (my dad didn't want me to take a picture myself).
