I have a need to strongly connect two technic beams (one on top of each other). Simply attaching them on top of each other (with Lego studs) is not strong enough for my use. I am assuming that I need to somehow brace them through the side holes but can not figure out how.

I need there to be just the two technic beams and can not space them with Lego plates so I can not seem to strengthen them with liftarms as they don’t fit nicely with just 2 beams. (ok... at least I don’t know how to make them fit).

Any of that make sense?

Any help would greatly appreciated. - Jeff

put the two

one on top of the other.
On the middle of the top one put one , on it one and on it one .

The hole in the top can now be braced to the bottom beam with a .

You can also put one of the below the beams, if it’s better for your application.

It’s bulky, but if that doesn’t bother you it’ll work.

(...) If you have no plates, put four bricks on top of each other between the beams and use a 7L liftarm rather than the 5L one pictured above. Mark (19 years ago, 5-Oct-05, to lugnet.technic, FTX)
