I have 8448 and was curious if anyone knows the size difference between the 2 kits, are the assembled models roughly the same size? Ie, width, length, height? Thanks in (...)   Re: prices

(...) Yikes. I have to check out my local TRU real quick. Other posts said that the lime tuner racer 8649 is also on the shelves... And to answer Vineet, Canadian price for 8421 will be Cdn$199.99. I buy that and 8649, and that's it for me for the (...) (19 years ago, 24-May-05, to lugnet.technic)

(...) I have to clarify this: I did not do the truck, I just responded to the question of European truck standards by giving an example of how trucks usually look in Sweden. Anders Gaasedal in Denmark built the truck. Play well! :-) Olof (19 years ago, 24-May-05, to lugnet.modelteam, lugnet.technic, FTX)

Nice model Olof, I enjoyed the working features and the colour scheme is fantastic, very industrial looking. (...) I think the prototype has 520HP, which is pretty good going. They generally say that 10HP per ton is a good power to weight ratio. (...) (19 years ago, 24-May-05, to lugnet.modelteam, lugnet.technic, FTX)

(...) I have some pictures on my Brickshelf account: (URL) I have done more work since these were taken, mainly on the wing and nose (wing covering, engine mounts, nose-wheel and cockpit) and I started out 1 1/2 years ago by "laying the keel" in (...) (...) The weight limits vary greatly, EU standard is 40 tons I think, and I beleive Switzerland (not in EU) has 28 tons, but this is what most trucks look like here in Sweden: (URL) 25,25 meters long (82,8 feet) and 60+ metric tons (138000 lbs) (...) (...) Hi Didier, Thanks for the nice reply to my new truck. Im glad you like it. I understand your concerns regarding the STAMP, but I also think it is ok in this case.
