The cylindar parts pack may be gone (soon if not now), but the cylinders themeselves aren't being dropped, are they? I know that the Dacta set 9633 Advanced Air Power Set includes one of these, so as long as it is around, these will need to stay in production. (...) Good point, I didn't ask if the part itself was discontinued. But the effect is nearly the same, considering how few sets actually contain small cylinders. In my experience one needs several to make anything really useful, which could be very (...) (24 years ago, 18-Feb-00, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.robotics)

I just orederd some more pneumatic parts form Shop at Home and discovered that the small (1 1/4") pneumatic cylinders have been discontinued. The full implications of that haven't quite hit me yet, but I'm sure that this is an unfortunate turn of (...) (24 years ago, 18-Feb-00, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.robotics)
