| I've occasionally wished for a 7x7, 56-tooth gear (same size as the outside of the large turntable). I know others have taken turntables apart to use them as gears (I think I saw this usage in a clock mechanism). In fact, I'd buy several (say 10 or (...) (23 years ago, 2-Apr-02, to lugnet.technic)

| (...) 1x3, 1x5 technic beams with studs, with 2 or 3, 4 or 5 holes. 1/2 stud Pulley like 4185, but smaller, with round hole. A nice big winding drum, like 2585, but technic-scale (I just noticed the other day that 2585 has ridges through the middle (...) (23 years ago, 2-Apr-02, to lugnet.technic)
