Re: My latest Technic MOC or What to do with all those wild coloured bent beams

I've uploaded a few pics of my new MOC which digs into my supply of bent beams; (URL) haven't "motorized" this model yet, but that exercise shouldn't change the outline too much, just fill in some of the rather empty inside space! JB (23 years ago, 23-Oct-01, to lugnet.technic)

Re: good uses for flex system on a technic car?

A common use of flex system on cars is for the steering linkages. The 8479 Bar Code Truck also uses them for some other purposes, but you've already been told that. I don't thing I have seen any other major uses of the cables. Didn't you just ask (...) (23 years ago, 23-Oct-01, to lugnet.technic)

  Bionicle Truck

I don't know what the occasion was, but this truck was parked at a hotel down the street from me (in Santa Barbara, CA) a few weeks back. In hindsight, I should've swiped the mask off the front :). Photo is at: (URL) (23 years ago, 21-Oct-01, to lugnet.technic.bionicle)

At LEGO World 2001, a LEGO fair in the Netherlands (20-23th of October) there were rumours that there is a chance that the PC Game of Bionicle is still coming. Data of issue (probably): before Christmas 2001. (23 years ago, 21-Oct-01, to lugnet.technic.bionicle)

  Re: need flex system ideas

Some time during the nineties, there was a flex system based technic universal kit. It's on Brickshelf. Take a look at it, it may have some nice ideas. Fredrik (23 years ago, 20-Oct-01, to lugnet.technic)
