Re: what sets include the #4 angle connector?

I've often wondered why TLC is so stingy with these parts. Seems to me they are extremely useful. Any ideas? as evah, John C. (...) (23 years ago, 24-Aug-01, to lugnet.technic)

  RE: bushing (bush) question

(...) Type 2 is newer, probably because the Type 1's were too hard to take off the axle. I've noticed that most of my loose Type 1's have a hairline fracture on one side. (...) All the parts with teeth were essentially replaced with functional (...) (23 years ago, 24-Aug-01, to lugnet.robotics, lugnet.technic)

what sets include the #4 angle connector?

All I know of are the 2 red ones in the 8448 super street sensation. Are there any other sets that contain this part? What other colors does this part come in? (23 years ago, 24-Aug-01, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: LEGO in Washington Post

Thanks for the excitment Geordan. I'd like to correct or rather explain something Dave said...(it's below) (...) Here's the deal. Living close by entitles Dave to see the Cankerworm early only so I can beg hime for more parts. I usually say (...) (23 years ago, 24-Aug-01, to lugnet.technic.bionicle, lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: bushing (bush) question

(...) Based on my experience, out of over 200 Type 1's that I own, only a few have ever split in half. Having recently acquired a used 8880 supercar (which uses Type 2's), I now have over 20 split Type 2's, and that number keeps increasing with use. (...)   Re: LEGO in Washington Post

(...) Sorry, Geordan...I'm the only one who gets to see it early and that's only because I live close by...everyone else has to wait another 2 weeks. I will tell you this much: I got to hear Cankerworm on the phone yesterday. It sounds both mean and (...) (23 years ago, 23-Aug-01, to lugnet.technic.bionicle, lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Ball & socket joints.

John, A few of us got together to 'do the math' on the various sets that contain the 'ball with axle-hole' part in them. We discovered that, using retail prices only, Pohatu was by far the best deal. He contains two 'ball with axle-hole' parts for (...) (23 years ago, 23-Aug-01, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: bushing (bush) question

(...) They're pretty much the same. But I think Type 1 bushings often have a tighter fit than Type 2 bushings. It really depends on each specific part and its particular tolerances. I have some Type 1's that are extrememly tight fitting, and others (...) (23 years ago, 23-Aug-01, to lugnet.robotics, lugnet.technic)
