  Re: LEGO in Washington Post

Thanks for the excitment Geordan. I'd like to correct or rather explain something Dave said...(it's below) (...) Here's the deal.   Re: bushing (bush) question

  Re: LEGO in Washington Post

(...) Sorry, Geordan...I'm the only one who gets to see it early and that's only because I live close by...everyone else has to wait another 2 weeks. I will tell you this much: I got to hear Cankerworm on the phone yesterday. It sounds both mean and (...) (23 years ago, 23-Aug-01, to lugnet.technic.bionicle, lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Ball & socket joints.

John, A few of us got together to 'do the math' on the various sets that contain the 'ball with axle-hole' part in them. We discovered that, using retail prices only, Pohatu was by far the best deal. He contains two 'ball with axle-hole' parts for (...) (23 years ago, 23-Aug-01, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: bushing (bush) question

(...) They're pretty much the same. But I think Type 1 bushings often have a tighter fit than Type 2 bushings. It really depends on each specific part and its particular tolerances. I have some Type 1's that are extrememly tight fitting, and others (...) (23 years ago, 23-Aug-01, to lugnet.robotics, lugnet.technic)

  Re: Ball & socket joints.

Thanks. That was very helpful. tho I was hoping that there were grey sockets and balls I guess I'll just have to use the black ones for now. oh well, I guess the next mech will be blue, lt gray and black. and the one i'm building will just have (...)   Re: Ngarehu

(...) OK...but just remember...YOU asked for it... WOW! Definately a cool idea...and a great MOC! Do you envision these creatures as self-aware, but under orders, or more like elementals, raw forces, but under direct control? (I like the second way, (...)
