(...) The missing element is 'Technic Function'. If Bionicle sets are like the Slizers, the only function they have is a wheel (small gear) that you turn to make the head go up and down. Not exactly high-function, y'know? Steve (25 years ago, 30-May-01, to lugnet.technic)

(...) I have to agree. I picked up a bionicle this weekend and was pleasantly surprised. Compared to throwbots and roboriders I think it is a step forward. For me, the main strength of the line is that you can build an action figure that has the (...) (25 years ago, 30-May-01, to lugnet.technic)

I just picked up my first bionicle set last weekend and I gotta say, I really like it. I was a bit cynical after the average throwbots sets, and the poor roboriders sets; but these sets have redemed the line. I fully understand why our friends of (...) (25 years ago, 30-May-01, to lugnet.technic)
