  Re: springless pneumatic pump

Unscrew the spring over the plunger knob. It will deform it slightly. It can be reinstalled in the reverse manner. I have removed mine and reinstalled it successfully. -- Bob Fay rfay@we.mediaone.net (URL) Heverly" <theverly@nospam.hotmail.com> (...) (24 years ago, 28-Apr-01, to lugnet.technic)

  springless pneumatic pump

I see alot of people remove the spring from the large pump to make a better motorized pump. I'm gonna try that myself, but I'd hate to destroy my only large pump, so I'm asking for experience. Is there anything I should know before I attempt this (...) (24 years ago, 28-Apr-01, to lugnet.technic)

  Linear Actuator

I remember once seeing a very compact linear actuator that someone made using a micro-motor, a worm gear, and a very small number of other parts. But I can't find it anywhere now. Does anyone else remember this? (24 years ago, 28-Apr-01, to lugnet.technic)
