  New bionicle sets.

Hi All, In one of the bionicles that I bought (for the new-style gears only), I found a year 2001 bionicle minicatalog.   Re: How about ideas for new elements?

(...) If anyone remembers the very first universal joints were the same diameter all the way along, they didn't have the narrower section with the slots that looks like a bush, I still have two of these but I've never thought to substitute them into (...) (...) Older than town Jr., perhaps... (...) We're not the target audience of a 15M marketing campaign, you can be sure of that, I would bet dollars to doughnuts.(1) 1 - a saying that used to mean "great odds" but now that a decent Krispy Kreme is (...)   Re: LSD/Auto-Locking Differential Gears

(...) Hehe..yeah, that's what those meant (they were mentioned in the first post). I wrote up that post at around 4:30 in the morning and was too tired to write out the full names so I just abbreviated them. :-) (...) Great designs there! I suppose (...)   Re: LSD/Auto-Locking Differential Gears

(...) In the case of a RWD car with a *stiff* LSD in the rear, the inner wheel is always slipping a little bit whether on the throttle or brakes or nothing.. Considering that the highest amount of grip is typically at a 15% slip angle, it is not (...) (25 years ago, 16-Apr-01, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: LSD/Auto-Locking Differential Gears

(...) Olivier-- Very nice, simple designs! I wish I knew how to have the differential automatically engage the lock, but I can only think of ways that involve hydraulics... //Henry Chea hchea@kungstorget.nu *S* Göteborg, jaja, jag behöver inget mer! Conical gears in all the standard gear sizes, PLEASE!!!! Bring back the half bushings with the teeth, and put teeth on more of the lift arms. It's too hard to do anything at angles other than 90 degrees. (25 years ago, 16-Apr-01, to lugnet.technic)
