This may sound a little bit weird, but has anyone ever built anything that they were actually afraid of? I think I have done just that: (URL) Spinning Wheel of Death. (...) I've been having problems with eight tooth gears and short (<6) axles. it seems that in certain combinations, an 8-tooth with slide all along a six- or four-long axle, IOW, no gripping. and then there are those that i can't put on an axle w/o (...) (24 years ago, 16-Mar-01, to lugnet.technic)
