  A Technic Train

The new Lego remote-controlled (RC) trains use train wheels with Technic axle holes (only in the wheels connected to the motor, unfortunately). This creates an opportunity to power a train using essentially any Technic or Mindstorms motor, not just (...) (18 years ago, 8-Apr-07, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.technic, lugnet.robotics, FTX) !

Technic Clock Tower Building with Electric Drive

I built a new version of my clock tower building for a recent train layout with (URL) NELUG>. The clock mechanism is built from 100% genuine LEGO and is driven by a 9V (RIS-style) motor powered from a train transformer at a bare minimum voltage. I (...)   Re: Radio controlled CAT D7R LGP

Wow! You always do great work. I think the authentic look of this model is just one of the strong points of your style. I really like all of the technical capabilities and details. Great job! Awesome photos! - Eric Sophie (18 years ago, 7-Apr-07, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.modelteam)

(...) Wow! Spectacular! I'd love to see some video coverage of your bulldozer in action. I think it looks even better than the one LEGO is coming out with. I think the tractor and lo-boy are very well done also. Excellent work! Jordan (18 years ago, 6-Apr-07, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.modelteam, FTX)

  Radio controlled CAT D7R LGP

Before we even know LEGO would release it's own radio controlled bulldozer I started to build my own one in April 2006. As usual I wanted to but a set which wasn't in LEGOs assortment anymore and after visiting a few toy shops I found my copy of set (...)   Re: New Technic Ferrari?

(...) Apparently this was purchased at the Milton Keynes Lego Store in the UK. Price was 80GBP. So, it shouldn't be long before it appears on S@H. It appears to have the standard Technic V-8 and HOG steering and not much else Technic-wise. But I (...) (18 years ago, 5-Apr-07, to lugnet.technic)

  New Technic Ferrari?

How long has this kit existed? It looks amazing! I don't think it has been discussed on Lugnet yet. Like the TLC Enzo, it does not look like it has any shocks or transmission, but from these pictures it is hard to tell. (URL) me it has a closer (...) (18 years ago, 4-Apr-07, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: First MOC

(...) It looks very big. The wire-triggered air intake on top of the engine is the best part. I don't know much about dragsters, and wanted to know why the swingarms for the front steering are not exactly vertical. Does this help it stick to the (...) (18 years ago, 3-Apr-07, to lugnet.technic)
