  New Monorail System (MOC)

This monorail (URL) built with tracks from Snowmobile 8272 and the forthcoming Bullozer 8275. The Power Functions system (URL) allows IR remote control of the train.   Re: 8889 Technic Truck

I have the 8889 book, and looking closely at your photos and the book's I couldn't find even one tiny difference. (Apart fromt he blue beam you mentioned but that doesn't count). It's THAT good. Since you already experienced the anguish of seeing (...) (18 years ago, 8-Mar-07, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Power Functions Tower Crane

(...) Thanks - the shock idea is not mine but from a friend... he will be glad you appreciated! (...) The weight it can lift (about 200g at the end of the boom) is not representative at all of the torque of the motor: the crane tips well before the (...)   Re: Power Functions Tower Crane

(...) Ingenious design! That video was fun to watch. It moves very smoothly and gracefully. The shock to tension the cable was an awesome idea since it created more friction on the winches that moved the trolley. How much can it lift with the (...) (18 years ago, 7-Mar-07, to lugnet.technic, FTX)

  Re: Power Functions Tower Crane

(...) Thanks ;o) (...) ...though IR control may have some drawbacks: exercise several of them at the same time and you are sure to get funny results!!! The 4 channels help, but for big models several are used at once... (...) BTW, it has been a (...) (18 years ago, 7-Mar-07, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Power Functions Tower Crane

WOW!!!! Please allow me to express how COOL that is. I think you have found the perfect use for this new motor and control system. The new IR controller, and Motors will free many MOC's of the unrealistic wires that still shackle the rest of us. I (...) (18 years ago, 7-Mar-07, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: 10182 Cafe Corner... WOW

(...) I have to ask about the minifig guy in the front corner, the one with the broom. What is he sweeping? Are those oranges? What pieces are those? Are they spheres? If so, do I detect micro-scale GBC possibilities? Rafe (18 years ago, 7-Mar-07, to lugnet.town, lugnet.technic, FTX)

Re: Joystick Controls with new Power Function RC handsets
