Re: Request for info on the Control Lab Interface.

Greetings Gaz, (...) 9 pin. You want a 9-pin male to plug into the back of the control lab and a 9 pin female to plug into a COM port on the back of your PC. I recommend buying new. I spent 3 hours trying to get Control lab to work only to find out (...) (19 years ago, 26-Mar-06, to lugnet.robotics, lugnet.technic)

Request for info on the Control Lab Interface.

I have just got my hands on a Control Lab Interface, sadly with no pc connection cable and no software, and I am kindly asking for some help please. Firstly would anyone be able to tell me the connections between the 9 pin connector on the back and (...) (19 years ago, 26-Mar-06, to lugnet.robotics, lugnet.technic)

(...) How did you manage to see it? (19 years ago, 26-Mar-06, to lugnet.technic)

  Another Demag crane

I was checking out Brickshelf, and I found this: (URL) an asthetic standpoint, it looks really great. (19 years ago, 26-Mar-06, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Boeing 737 by "mpostma"

(...) Not only that, its control surfaces move via a wired remote connected to an RCX inside. It's very cool. (19 years ago, 23-Mar-06, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Boeing 737 by "mpostma"

(...) It does look nice. (Now maybe if some plates were added to it to give it the appearance of a real plane, not just a skeleton). (19 years ago, 20-Mar-06, to lugnet.technic)

  Boeing 737 by "mpostma"

Has a Technic passenger jet like this ever been made in this large of scale before? (URL) big! Oh, by the way, its very well done too. Studless beams place in that fashion are almost exactly like the skeleton of a real passenger jet. Heck, the (...) (19 years ago, 20-Mar-06, to lugnet.technic) !

  8733 availability in US?

Does anyone know when 8733 Axonn is coming out in the US, or know of any stores willing to ship to the US that carry it? (19 years ago, 18-Mar-06, to lugnet.general, lugnet.technic.bionicle)

  Re: lego technic parts

  Re: lego technic parts

(...) How about this piece? 'Technic Liftarm Rotor 3 Blades' (URL) can get it in the "technic beams" pack from lego. (19 years ago, 17-Mar-06, to lugnet.technic)

  lego technic parts

Does anyone out there know if lego has made a studless version of this piece: Technic Rotor 3 Blade (This is the fan piece for a piston set). If anyone know of a studless version of this, I'd be greatful. Thanks. (19 years ago, 17-Mar-06, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Pneumatic Wheel

(...) It's great- that pump really puts out a lot of air! (19 years ago, 14-Mar-06, to lugnet.technic, FTX)

Re: mechanical XOR and Half Adder

(...) Not in fixed digit maths. In a 1 digit binary adder, 1+1 = 0, just as in a 4 digit decimal adder 5000+6000 = 1000. (...) LOL definitely. ROSCO (19 years ago, 12-Mar-06, to lugnet.technic, FTX)

Re: mechanical XOR and Half Adder

So basically, when designing a mechanical walker, the use of these types of adder/half adder creations is to see how the machine will walk? I ask because I have never built a walker. (19 years ago, 12-Mar-06, to lugnet.technic, FTX)

Re: mechanical XOR and Half Adder

(...) Well, technically, 1 + 1 = 2, or in binary, 1 + 1 = 10. The sum isn't 0, the S output is 0. ‹/nitpicks› This stuff is cool. I like your mechanical logic gates better than the pneumatic ones I've seen. Yours are definitely cheaper to build. (19 years ago, 10-Mar-06, to lugnet.technic, FTX)

Re: mechanical XOR and Half Adder

(...) you say "1+1 = 1, carry 1", the sum should be 0 :) (...) No problem the links are fine. To use FTX you have to set the format (under the subject when posting) to FTX and use FTX code as explained here (URL) (19 years ago, 8-Mar-06, to lugnet.technic)
