  8480 "Intergalactic Traveling Spaceship"

The March issue of Lego Magazine just arrived in mail. In "Out of this World Building Challenge Winners", one 11-year-old kid wins with a "Intergalactic Traveling Spaceship" -- which looks to me just a 8480 with mini-figs sitting around the cockpit.   Re: Hex363

(...) The fixed shape parts are easy. It is all the pneumatic tubes that are a pain to route. (...) You *know* the answer to this one! (...) Kevin (21 years ago, 24-Mar-04, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.robotics)

  Re: Neptune's Moon Lagoon

(...) Now then, don't be silly. It obviously utilises a hydrostatic integrity field to enhance the surface tension and prevent boiling. This is clearly evident from how the swimmer is fully suspended, even though he hardly breaks the surface. If you (...)   Re: Neptune's Moon Lagoon

(...) Yeah, I should have included the word miniscule, but I defer to those in possession of the facts; I could easily have been off by an order of magnitude. (...) Ewwww! Actually, I always suspected as much, but I wasn't sure about your plumbing. (...) (21 years ago, 24-Mar-04, to lugnet.technic.bionicle, lugnet.space, lugnet.build, FTX)

(...) Could be worse. I've gotten so used to posting in forums that I sometimes close the window after only hitting the Preview button. (...) Ah, that would probably explain why someone in Wisconsin had such huge quantities of gems, and all but one (...)   Re: Neptune's Moon Lagoon

(...) Solar pull on the Earth's tides is pretty weak compared to the lunar pull. It'd probably be even weaker compared to terran pull on the moon. Tides might fluctuate an inch or two throughout the lunar month, but not enough to get a good surf (...) (21 years ago, 23-Mar-04, to lugnet.technic.bionicle, lugnet.space, lugnet.build, FTX)

  Re: Neptune's Moon Lagoon

(...) Less than you might think. The reason why there's an obverse lunar tide is because the moon is small and doesn't exert enough gravitic force on the far side of earth to pull all the water around to the near side. The side closest to the moon (...) (21 years ago, 23-Mar-04, to lugnet.technic.bionicle, lugnet.space, lugnet.build, FTX)

Re: Bulk Bionicle tubs at TRU

(...) That number is now confirmed. They are just being shipped from the warehouse, and my local store does not show any enroute. In fact, they only show them enroute to two stores in PR. Anyone in PR want a bunch of Bionicle parts ? Email me, and (...) (21 years ago, 23-Mar-04, to lugnet.technic.bionicle, lugnet.general, lugnet.market.shopping, FTX)
