From what I understand, this is what happens: The 8475 motors are capable of drawing a very large amount of current - see Philippe (...) (21 years ago, 18-Nov-03, to lugnet.technic)

| (...) I had trouble with the one that I received for Christmas last year. It worked fine for a couple of days, and then just stopped working. New batteries didn't seem to help.
