say look for the aisle with the tools and drill bits specifically (often
between the light bulbs and the paint departments, but see above). Often the
Akro-Mils/Popular Mechanics parts cabinets are on the bottom shelf, and if
pushed back they can be invisible from head height or a look down the aisle
from the cap.

Hi all,

Where in Wal-Mart should I be looking in order to find the Akro Mills
storage cabinets?  I spent awhile wandering in Hardware, but to no
avail.  Should this be tellnig me that my Wal-Mart doesn't have them?
Or am I looking in the wrong place?

Thanks in advance ...

Even the same Wal-Mart location tends to move these items around from one
week to the next.  The Akro-Mils drawer units are usually near the hardware
and power tools.  Look for plastic toolboxes and stuff like that.  Then,
look on the top shelf and all around.  Typically, any one Wal-Mart location
will only have 2 or 3 of these out on the floor at a time, and you'll have
to either visit a few stores or keep going back every couple of weeks if you
want to get a lot of them.  I've only occasionally seen 8 or 10 of these in
the same store at the same time.

Shaun, if you're having trouble finding these, let me know.  I can probably
put my mitts on a half dozen or so of them if I plunder my local Wal-Marts
before the next meeting.  (Next week?)
