I noticed the thread about the popular mechanics lid organizer, and it led me
to speculate on something I'd used in the past to store my leather-working
accessories: craft cases.
Sometimes also called embrodiery or sewing cases, these are great for storing a
variety of small parts, less so for larger things.
they come in a bunch of sizes, but are usually around laptop sized, and better
ones come with a lid that seals/seperates comparments.
The big advantage these have is that they are almost invaribly clear plastic,
stackable and cheap like borsht.
Anyway, just another suggestion.
