I'm thinking about purchasing several storage cabinets like the ones you see
in large hardware stores like Loews and Home Depot. In the bolt/nut aisle,
there are usually a couple of cabinets housing specialty fasteners that are
likely made by Platt and Labona. These are 3" high metal drawer cabinets
with plastic tray inserts.

Has anyone had any experience with these, or had the same thoughts? They're
not cheap, but they'll store parts much more space-efficiently than Plano or
Akron Mills-type storage, since their nearly three times as deep (distance
from front to back of drawer is 22").

Or does anyone know of a higher-end alternative to Akron Mills?

Thanks

Cary
