Per the lugnet.starwars charter, which you can see on the opening
lugnet.starwars page, it specifically allows "Star Wars Fanaticism."

I think a bunch of people arguing over a character getting a medal in a
fictional movie from 20+ years ago qualifies as fanaticism.

I think he's ref'ing to the Taco-Bell arguement and to the language
discussion... in which cases he's totally justified. :-)

(of course, I'm a biased compartmentalized freak ;-)
