I noticed the shovels on the wings when I saw the preview pics. I
suppose I thought it was kind of neat that they were using them in a
non-shovel kind of way. I like using parts in unusual ways.

I am very happy that Lego decided to use current pieces rather than molding a new one just for that use. I feel the same way about the (...) (25 years ago, 19-May-00, to lugnet.starwars)

| I am about 30% done putting this together. While I really like it, I thought it would be a bigger sized model. I have completed the pod portion of the Tie, and I am now working on the wings.
