Wow, good eyes!  It definitely looks like a battle droid hand to me.  It makes
sense too, and I like the use of space for putting a droid in the tank.  Is the
printed piece above this area a hatch?  I seem to remember the hatch being
located on the rear of the vehicle in the film...  Anyone know?

There are two hatches, one in the turret(gunner) and one down below where you can see the battle droids hand. Thats the pilot seat. Jason F. (25 years ago, 10-Feb-00, to lugnet.starwars)
