My wife bought me the Rock Raider's Chrome Crusher the other day and I was
pleasantly surprised to see it included a catalog with Ep 1 Star Wars on the
cover.  Its the same as the old catalog except that it includes the Ep 1 • stuff
and has a new cover.  I wonder why they didn't have these ready in time for
shipping in the Ep 1 sets?

How is that new set?  I had it in my hands and figured, "Too expensive for 167
pieces."  What is that little thing, a flashlight or something?  Those wheels
look really cool though.  Are they real rubber?  First impressions on that new
cockpit?  Details please.

Well, I liked the set, the wheels are plastic and the laser is just a small
flashlight.  It is fun to use in a dimly lit room though.  The biggest
dissapointment is that the base is just one giant piece that could easily have
been made out of smaller pieces.  One cool thing is there is just enough space
in front of the laser to park the 4910 Hover Scout and the cockpit is built
for two people so you can put the female RR in as co-pilot.

If a person was an Armaggedon (the movie) fan, this could help build the
Armadillo from the movie.  You could even use the X-Wing flight suit along
with the space port helmet for the Nasa space-suit.  Heck that space shuttle
from the biggest space port set looks like their ship "Freedom".

Anyway, if this is the set to get if wou want a majority of the special pieces
you can get in the RR series with the exception of the Golem monster and
baseplate.
