  Happy Star Wars Day!

Yup, if you hadn't noticed by the new packaging, this year marks 30 years of Star Warsy goodness, and May 25th specifically is the date that Star Wars actually premiered. So, go do something Star Warsish to celebrate. After getting home from work, I (...) (18 years ago, 25-May-07, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: Tauntaun

Hey AC, The new version is really nice. It looks a lot less chunky than the original (Tuantaun diet?), and the viking horns work better than your original solution. Bruce (18 years ago, 10-May-07, to lugnet.starwars, FTX)

  Re: Tauntaun

(...) The new pieces which were not available yet when I did the first version definitely enhanced the head. The body was made leaner and the legs extended for a more accurate look. Unfortunately the 1x1 slope only come in bley so there wasn't much (...) (18 years ago, 10-May-07, to lugnet.starwars, FTX)

  Re: Tauntaun

This new version looks a bit more sportive - not sure if it's a diet, of the use of new pieces, or the fact you prove grey and bley can mix nicely to great effect.. Looks great anyway, was the first version also yours? (18 years ago, 9-May-07, to lugnet.starwars, FTX)

  Re: Steampunk X-Wing

(...) You're right of course. I knew of both yours and Mike's WW2 era X-Wings, and of Eric Poulton's blog as well. Since this text was cut'n'pasted from the FBTB entry post, it is therefore quite different from all of the other "evolution" entries (...)   Re: Steampunk X-Wing

(...) Not (URL) that> (URL) different>.... (...) It's good although I do find the width a little excessive out towards the nose. Seems that bit must be hard to get right since I was never happy with my nose design and I'm not sold on Mike Psiaki's (...) (18 years ago, 4-May-07, to lugnet.space, lugnet.starwars, FTX)

  Re: Steampunk X-Wing

(...) Very cool. My favorite details are the steampunky R2 unit, the propellers, and the use of rifles at the ends of the wings. Bruce (18 years ago, 4-May-07, to lugnet.space, lugnet.starwars, FTX)
