A little over a year ago I started this MOC of an AT-AT using click hinges to
help articulate the legs (as I'm sure many others tried).  The look of the AT-AT
was developing but the click hinges just couldn't handle the weight.  Even with
3 click hinges in both of the front hips this realitively small AT-AT wasn't
"walking" anywhere.

About the same time, Lego Produced its own AT-AT.  **sigh**  My AT-AT was
shelved and became a target for friends and small children to knock over
(remember the hip issue).  I never really finished the head or interior or gave
the MOC a finishing touch but all in all if the legs would have worked it might
have turn out to be a nice MOC.

Just kinda wanted to show it off before I rumaged the parts for a new imperial
project.

I like to hear your thoughts,

Matt,

I really like your AT-AT!  I think you should take the time to finish the final
touches - it has a sturdy construction, you managed to capture the details with
simple brickwork, although the head does look a little "off" (in addition to
being too big).  I didn't see many other creations on your Brickshelf page, and
I'm impressed that you were able to build such a kick-butt model.  Even if you
only decide to use it as the "AT-AT that bit the snow" in a Hoth diorama on your
bookshelf, I think it would be a real shame if you dismantled her.

Thanks Jeff.  Though I've been visiting lugnet and brickshelf for years now this
was only my second time to share my creations.  Some creations posted by others
are well...quite humbling.

For now the AT-AT has been placed in the misc project bin.  It will likely
remain there in major secions being slowly dismantled over time.  Hopefully,
It's sacrafice will not be in vain :)

Thanks for the comments...Matt
