I recently received the Snowspeeder, and I must say that I was very impressed with the finished product. I think it was probably the least challenging of the UCS sets so far, there is a distinct lack of ingenious building techniques (very little (...) (21 years ago, 31-Dec-03, to lugnet.starwars)

I'm very likely buying it no matter what... but I just wondered if anyone had comments or even a full review to share for the UCS Snowspeeder? I bought and thoroughly enjoyed the AT-AT, so I figured the snowspeeder would be fun to build as well. (...) (21 years ago, 31-Dec-03, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.general)

My opinion is that when a set comes with 0 LEGO bricks, there's no question that it's a (very recent) TECHNIC set.* I'm looking at my own Hailfire Droid I just got for Christmas, and I just can't find any. It's all liftarms and axles. Come to think (...) (21 years ago, 29-Dec-03, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.starwars)

(...) Actually, thats only partly true. Up thru model year 2001, there were several sets which had both TECHNIC and Star Wars on the box front. R2-D2 and the Destroyer Droid are two that come to mind. Also many of the 2001 Bionicle sets had TECHNIC (...) (21 years ago, 28-Dec-03, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.starwars)
