There were a couple problems with the AT-AT set as Lego released it, and I
came up with some quickie modifications that make a big difference in the
overall look & feel of the set:

Dude, I really wish LEGO would have used yours instead. It's much more in proportion, and honestly a better design. (...) I followed you clear and concise instructions with extra parts that weren't in existing mocs and the results were beautiful. The whole upgrade was complete in a 1/2 hour guy...1/2 hour!
