The 2x2-plate-with-downward-pointing-technic-peg in the
mini-ATST set has some new features around the peg.
If I'm not mistaken, it will plug into the socket-half
of the new click-hinges (e.g. found on the super battle droid),
and hold its position! Anyone tried this?

(...) Yep! I showed off the results at the last LUGOLA meeting as well. I'll have pics detailing the movement in a couple of weeks, but the side-mounted guns just off the cockpit are mounted exactly the way you describe. The best pic (for now) was (...) (21 years ago, 4-May-03, to lugnet.starwars)
