according to this pic:

it is NOT (imperial has six pegs, this one has eight). I think it is somesort
of old republic predessor to the Imperial symbol.
(it seems a lot of these episode 1 and 2 stuff has been made to look like
predessors to classic SW. i guess that's okay, but it seems kinda derivative
rather than original.)
the starfighter reminds me alot of the a-wing.

| I don't think so. One would think that the toy would have to have final approval from Lucas - so "non-accurate" gimmicks wouldn't sneak in. BTW - as anyone verified that the emblem on the white round tile IS the Imperial asteric? (...) (23 years ago, 5-Mar-02, to lugnet.starwars)
