2001 SW finally hits CO SPGS CO

I found some of the 2001 sets at a Target here in Colorado Springs, CO.
They had several each of Watto's Junkyard and the Droid Carrier. They also
had several LOM and Studios sets. There was no sign of the AT-ST, the Droid
Escape Pod, or The Imperial Shuttle. I did manage to get their last TIE
Fighter however... I felt like Charlie finding the Golden Ticket. It was on
a lower shelf pushed all the way to the back. I figure they either had a
bunch and sold 'em all, or some kid pushed it to the back.
I didn't have the money to get both the TIE and Watto's Junkyard, and I
didn't really care for the Droid Carrier, so I just picked up the TIE. I'm
going on a hunt for the Imperial Shuttle tonight, and since I got paid today
I'll probably pick up whatever else I find.
The TIE is pretty cool, but I'm very impressed by the minifigs. The
Stormtrooper helmet is shiny (as it should be) and more detailed than the
Hasbro action figures. I wish that Lego had made a "neck" piece with tubes
for the TIE Pilot instead of just painting them onto the torso, but it's
still cool to have a black Stormtrooper helmet... :) next month I'm setting
aside a couple hundred bucks just to buy TIEs (gotta build that ST army you
know... ;)
