  Re: Hoth X-Wing Hangar

Yea, let people figure it out for themselves. I still haven't figured out what Kieth Goldman was trying to say (hence my encoded statement). I think he was putting out a random sequence. FUT to off-topic.geek as this is no longer related to SW. (...) (21 years ago, 22-Feb-04, to lugnet.starwars)

ISD in 60 seconds: a time-lapse animation of the Imperial Star Destroyer build at BrickFest PDX 2004

Recap No doubt by now you've already heard about and/or seen photos of the world-record breaking (URL) Imperial Star Destroyer> build at BrickFest PDX last weekend... (9 URLs) ...but there's something that only BrickFest PDX attendees have seen so (...) (21 years ago, 21-Feb-04, to lugnet.events.brickfest, lugnet.starwars, lugnet.animation, FTX) !

Re: Miniland Figure Star Wars MOC: Bothan Spy

Thanks guys! I tried to keep his helmet as small as I could, but it still reminds me a little of Dark Helmet from Spaceballs every time I look at him! Considering the amount of articulation he has, he's actually very sturdy (but his weight makes it (...) (21 years ago, 20-Feb-04, to lugnet.starwars, FTX)

  Re: Cantina

Great work Bruce! As always, I am impressed. Hopefully LEGO will release more sets to go with set #4501. Then you can populate your cantina with more of the official minifigs ala Greedo. Perhaps the bigwigs at LEGO can see YOUR cantina and realize (...) (21 years ago, 20-Feb-04, to lugnet.starwars, FTX)

Re: Miniland Figure Star Wars MOC: Bothan Spy

(...) Wild as always Mike. The split apart helmet is a thing of beauty. It consistantly amazes me how you coax such shapes and functionality out of a buncha little plastic rectangles. Cheers, -G (21 years ago, 20-Feb-04, to lugnet.starwars, FTX)

  Re: Vanguard Speeder

(...) An interesting shape Amado, and definately SW-ish. The details seem a little wanting however...perhaps some intakes might break up the form a bit? Just a thought. I like the radar dish engine outputs. Cheers, -G (21 years ago, 20-Feb-04, to lugnet.starwars, FTX)

  Re: Cantina

(...) Great work Bruce! This is my favourite version of Cantina I have seen on the web. The shape of building, the entry, the bar, everything is close to the movie. Bravo! Eric / BaronSat (21 years ago, 20-Feb-04, to lugnet.starwars, FTX)

Taking LUGNET to the next level

Chats with people at BrickFest PDX last weekend got me thinking a lot more about LUGNET and its role in the community. I've bounced some of my thoughts off of various people (including three people from LEGO) and responses varied from positive to (...)   Miniland Figure Star Wars MOC: Bothan Spy

This is sort of a redo of two of my older (and now pretty crummy looking by comparison) figures: my original Bothan and Stormtrooper. Disguised in a modified Imperial Scout Trooper uniform, this armor has flight capabilities, perfect in case a hasty (...)   Re: Cantina

Hey all, As cool as this is in pictures, it's even cooler in person. Bruce brought it to a LUGOLA meeting in November and I've been keeping quiet this whole time about how cool it was waiting for him to post it himself. So now I can publicly say (...)   Re: Cantina

I love all the cameos there! The Shivistian Wolfman, Hammerhead, the Tonnika Sisters, Ponda Baba and Dr. E, it's great that they're so recognizable! Now I’d like to see some movie screenshots compared to the scenery you have outside. plucky (21 years ago, 19-Feb-04, to lugnet.starwars, FTX)

  Re: ISD group build--New Record

Hm.. It seems to be a tad rear-heavy :) Good thing it's not that very stable so there's not that much forces on the bricks as it hits the ground. Still very amazing not a single brick was damaged! I'd guess some plates, technic bricks and pins would (...) (21 years ago, 18-Feb-04, to lugnet.events.brickfest, lugnet.space, lugnet.starwars)
