Very cool, AC. It reminds me of this set from my youth: (URL) (21 years ago, 11-Jun-03, to lugnet.starwars)

Gunner Station Level II (was re:DSMs)

Check out our latest DSM MOC from our homepage, Gunner Station Level II; (URL) second level of the Death Star gunner station contains the massive ion gunnery that can easily destroy small rebel craft with a single shot. The lower level can be (...) (21 years ago, 11-Jun-03, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.build, lugnet.space, lugnet.announce.moc)

  Re: New 1592 variation: Endor

Bruce, Great work! Does the bunker have any internal shots and does the door work as well? Regards, ACPin & Sons (21 years ago, 11-Jun-03, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: New 1592 variation: Endor

(...) Thanks, I had fun. I was happy with how the bunker turned out. The walls are actually plates leaning at an angle and then held tightly in place by the studs on the ground and the overhang of the roof. Hmm, I've done variations from episodes 4 (...)   Re: Count Blockula's Miniland Sculptures

(...) He does post regularly on the fbtb.net message boards. Bruce (21 years ago, 10-Jun-03, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Count Blockula's Miniland Sculptures

(...) Agreed. This guy does AMAZING things with normal and 'useless' pieces. That keyboard is just perfect... wow. The transfusion of Bionicle and system is great. I also like the scale-it allows for so much detail. Though, imagine building a (...) (21 years ago, 10-Jun-03, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Count Blockula's Miniland Sculptures

(...) COOL!!!! Finally, A use for the Bionicle rubber band holders (Max Rebo's keyboard). These things are incredible!!! Scott Lyttle (21 years ago, 10-Jun-03, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: New 1592 variation: Endor

Bruce, This is a great addition to the variations! Simplistic yet effective. I like your bunker face design and the thatched roof works very well. I agree with you on the placement of characters due to contrast. My only criticism is that the (...) (21 years ago, 10-Jun-03, to lugnet.starwars, FTX)

  Count Blockula's Miniland Sculptures

Not sure it he's made the LUGnet boards yet (don't remember seeing him), but you've got to check out his miniland scale fig sculptures of SW characters if you haven't already. (URL) Some of the element uses are just brilliant. Count B...not sure if (...) (21 years ago, 10-Jun-03, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.space, FTX)

  BioniWars: EyeGee-EightToaEight (IG-8OA8)

(2 URLs) While the basic gun designs were posted almost two weeks ago, this character actually premiered at the MichLUG meeting that I attended earlier today. He looks a bit goofy, but I've come to the conclusion that, with the exception of the (...)   What is correct to Scale?

I hear alot of Lugnetters complain about the lack of scale in LEGO's System sets. Is there a System set that is to scale, or at least close to scale? And, of course, I ask this understanding that a Minifig doesn't have anywhere near the dimension of (...) (21 years ago, 6-Jun-03, to lugnet.starwars, FTX)

  Re: Manta Airspeeder

(...) Be my guest in doing refinements to this craft as a Sea Monkeys vehicle. I didn't want to do too much detailing at the bottom since it's for non-military use. The only details that you'll see if you look closely enough are the two back flaps, (...) (21 years ago, 6-Jun-03, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.space, lugnet.aquazone)

  Re: Manta Airspeeder

(...) Thanks for the compliments! It's doubly hard to get pictures of dark colored models specially the black ones. As you can see from the shadows, I've used three different light sources to blend and get the pictures at the correct angles where (...) (21 years ago, 6-Jun-03, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.space)

  Re: Manta Airspeeder

(...) Wow, it really does have a horsehoe crab feel on the bottom. While Ogel wouldn't mind having this, I tend to think that this might be cool for the Sea Monkeys for a land invasion craft...with appropriate refinements:) Joe Meno (21 years ago, 5-Jun-03, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.space, lugnet.aquazone)

  Re: Manta Airspeeder

(...) Positively love that design...great shape, great detailing, and great photography. Most pictures of all-black models come out hard to define details and painful to the eye. You've done a terrific job in both making a really cool model, and (...) (21 years ago, 5-Jun-03, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.space)
