  Re: Manta Airspeeder

(...) Be my guest in doing refinements to this craft as a Sea Monkeys vehicle. I didn't want to do too much detailing at the bottom since it's for non-military use. The only details that you'll see if you look closely enough are the two back flaps, (...) (21 years ago, 6-Jun-03, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.space, lugnet.aquazone)

(...) Thanks for the compliments! It's doubly hard to get pictures of dark colored models specially the black ones. As you can see from the shadows, I've used three different light sources to blend and get the pictures at the correct angles where (...) (21 years ago, 6-Jun-03, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.space)

(...) Wow, it really does have a horsehoe crab feel on the bottom. While Ogel wouldn't mind having this, I tend to think that this might be cool for the Sea Monkeys for a land invasion craft...with appropriate refinements:) Joe Meno (21 years ago, 5-Jun-03, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.space, lugnet.aquazone)

  Re: Manta Airspeeder

(...) Positively love that design...great shape, great detailing, and great photography. Most pictures of all-black models come out hard to define details and painful to the eye. You've done a terrific job in both making a really cool model, and (...) (21 years ago, 5-Jun-03, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.space)

  Sarlacc Pit Revisited

A year older and still I get responses about it. Mostly about asking more pics and finally I've gotten around to uploading in Brickshelf additional pics for it. Enjoy! (URL) & Sons (21 years ago, 4-Jun-03, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.build)

  AT-AT.

This is just a short and completely pointless post, but I just had to come here and say that the LEGO AT-AT is the most perfect and gorgeous looking set I have ever bought. It's currently stood triumphantly on top of my PC box and it just looks (...) (21 years ago, 3-Jun-03, to lugnet.starwars)

Joe, (...) I was kinda surprised also when I fitted the canopy on the quarter domes that it gave the sleek look that I wanted. I see what you mean about the horshoe crab appearance from the top view. Maybe with some refinements such as weaponry (...) (21 years ago, 3-Jun-03, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.space, lugnet.aquazone)

Gil, Thanks for the compliments! (...) I'll try to get some pics of the underside later and yes those are engine exhausts underneath. (...) I did try some of the longer slopes but they didn't exactly match the angle of the tail piece so that got (...) (21 years ago, 3-Jun-03, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.space)
