(...) Thanks! There were some lucky things that happened while I was building, and the collar is one of them. I did that to give a place for the head to rest. I tried to make the eye color a little more accurate by placing a trans-orange behind the trans green, but while the color was pretty close, it looked odd from the wrong angle. (...) Really? From my count, he's got 696 troopers lined up in Imperial1.jpg (24 wide, 29 deep), which would leave him missing close to 200 blasters. Joe, I love your Ackbar! Especially from an angled view, you really captured the "feel" of the character. I think the best part of the sculpture is that Ackbar's eyes ... well, really just "make" the bust! (21 years ago, 27-Apr-03, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.space)
