Josh, How you doing? The R2 pulling the pod is actually in the movie except that it's shown inside the tent where the podracers are being attended to. We ran out of tan baseplates and that's why only the center was the most logical place to put what (...) (22 years ago, 14-Jan-03, to lugnet.starwars)

Well it's a great way to end this sub-theme off for now. I also thought of doing a Y-wing variant, but you did a way better job than I could ever imagine.
