   As far as I know it, the game is called Football in England, Fußbal in Germany and where I'm from, The Netherlands, voetbal Most countries use the term football... so why not the rest of the world?      With Rugby, League and AFL (1), the ball is in the players hands for most of the time. So I don't see how it can be called Football.    FIFA stands for (excuse my spelling) Federation International Football Association I think. If not it's something similiar.
