  Re: Anyone knows?

(...) I believe the stickers were attached to the Coca-Cola package, separate from the set polybags. I picked up a complete set from HK and the stickers were included in a separate bag, assembled by the seller. -Rob. (22 years ago, 12-Aug-02, to lugnet.sports, lugnet.promo)

  Anyone knows?

Recently I purchased some Coca-Cola soccer promo sets from Europe and HK. To my surprise, the ones I got from Europe came with some stickers that go to the back of the minifigs. I asked the seller where he got the sets and he told me he got it from (...) (22 years ago, 12-Aug-02, to lugnet.sports, lugnet.promo)

  Re: SQUADRA AZURA

(...) You mean stickers with the FIGC (federazione italiana di gioco calcio) logo? I dunno if they exist, but you can always ask around in loc.it if they have something for you. Then again, maybe not... they are probably away from the computers, (...) (22 years ago, 12-Jun-02, to lugnet.sports)

  Re: Lego and the NBA

(...) I think Lego sells a basketball pen with all yellow heads. I'd rather see them stick to yellow heads, especially in minifig & technic scale. Belville, Duplo, & the others' flesh colors don't matter to me-- I tend to think of the (...) (22 years ago, 7-Jun-02, to lugnet.sports)

  Re: Lego and the NBA

(...) This is the best example of yellow skinned people we have to date. Using yellow for just about everyone and an occasional brown or light brown for those that simply can't be depicted as yellow (ie. people of african descent, etc) would be a (...)   Re: Lego and the NBA

I am fairly certain that Lego will not change from yellow faces. For one thing, the yellow face is one of their most famous and endeared trademarks. Everyone identifies with the smiling yello face. Second, if you look at Lego.com where the press (...) (22 years ago, 5-Jun-02, to lugnet.sports)

Well, to be fair, right here: (URL) (Spanish, Portuguese) (URL) (Brazilian, Mexican, Argentinian) Even if they don't have a 'fig with Pele's number (which I don't recall off the top of my head), it's clear that these are not predominantly (...)   Re: Lego and the NBA

(...) Okay, first of all, think "The Simpons"; Sure, people aren't really yellow, yet they have designated three or so colors for different ethicities. Lego should follow suit. Second - as many colors as Lego currently has, I don't think it would (...) (22 years ago, 4-Jun-02, to lugnet.sports, lugnet.off-topic.debate)

  SQUADRA AZURA

(...) EXCELLENT job AGAIN Lego with your marketing strategies (starting with eBay auctions and now the NBA) . You continue to expand the Lego name in today's ever-growing consumer society. eBay helped a lot and now with the expansion toward the NBA (...) (22 years ago, 1-Jun-02, to lugnet.sports)

  Re: Lego and the NBA

(...) I would think *most* football/soccer teams are *mostly* people of color. As much as I hate to see LEGO continue to dodge the color issue, I suspect we'll get more non-ethnic yellow people for basketball also. (URL) (22 years ago, 31-May-02, to lugnet.sports, lugnet.general)
