THe Hanger 02 of the err... MichLUG Colony.

Currently docked in it is the 'Iron Eagle' and is being guarded (and drooled
upon) by the elite Confed Guard. There are some droids buzzing around too.

Okay. This thing has two large 15" x 15" X-Large Grey baseplates for the
roof, curved in fact. :-). THAT THING IS A PAIN TO MOVE! It creaks and
groans like it's gonna shatter at any moment! I had to take pictures of it
on my parents bed because I DID NOT WANT TO MOVE IT! I brought it downstairs
once and that was the time it creaked like mad. I only hope to move it for
June 2nd and the Sci-Fi show. It can be converted into a large industrial
wharehouse for the GATS.

The Field Hospital

This thing is in 'modules' so it looks pre-fab to me. it has a nice Red
Cross on one wall, and a Comm unit on top.

WOOHOO!! :^D  EXCELLENT!  They're perfect!    Very nicely done.  The field
hospital would be small.  Very good!  And the hangar is perfect for all of
our fighter types, so the scale is right.  We'll probably only have a
handful of fighters there, so I don't know if you are going to want to leave
your ship in there or display it for everyone to see.

Here are a few (somewhat fuzzy) pics of my buildings in progress.  the
reator building is done.

http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/tpruden/Contraption2001/

Pics 1-9 are of my tokomac fusion reactor and cooling tower/atmospheric
processor.  I've shown it with the tower on and off, and one pic with the
cross support beam removed to show better detail.  (Not that anyone can see
that much detail since my digital camera is so %$%#$@# CHEAP!!!)  Anyways,
here are some pics to let you guys know what I've been workign on.

Pics 10, 11, and 12 are of my barracks and messhall/living quarters.  The
second floor loft is done, but nothing on the first floor.  I envision many
of these in real life, but we are not trying to creat real life so who
cares, right?

The last few pics are of my preliminary manufacturing building.  The
interior detail, lights, etc are not done save for the interior control
booth.  In reality, for a steel mill this building should be the size of
Rick's hangar, at least.  And my reactor building should be 4-6 times as
wide and 3-4 times as tall for a small reactor.  But again, what can you do?
:^P  For the show, these will do nicely.

Tonight before bed, my large communications dish using four ufo quarter
circles.  I want it to look like something like the array in Arizona.  But
just one.  That one will be a bit more towards correct scale.

Comments?  Critisms?  I'll wait until the 2nd or the show itself for you
guys to take good digital pics.  Then if you are all so kind I migh glean a
couple of pics here and there off you, resize them and put them on my
brickshelf to use in my Astro Lift pages.  If that's ok with you guys cuz I
just can't afford a good digital camera right now.
