I've just finished uploading the rest of the related pictures to the Scorpion.

Once I had the Scorpions built, I decided they needed to have a field
delivery system and so the Condor was born:

OOoooohhh!!!!

The wings are variable position depending on flight conditions. It's also a
VTOL, if it wasn't obvious from some of the pictures. :)

Oh very nice. I like the way the wings can angle (reminds me of the Nazi
plane thing from Raiders of the Lost Ark) and I like the li'l gap in the
front of the wing that forms an air intake for when your engines are in
flight configuration.

Thanks, Mark. :)

I knew that the wing design was inspired from someplace. ;) Thanks for
jogging my memory. It was indeed the big plane from 'Raiders, now that I
think about it. I just knew it looked 'right'. :)

The engines were a lot of fun to work on. Unfortunately, they can't tilt
together - not with the module bay in the center but that's a small price to
pay, I think. It's hard to see, but if you look up top in this picture:

There are two more intakes for the secondary engines. The Gungan sub
'panels' provide the tunnel for the intakes in addition to helping cover up
and protect the module or vehicle being deployed.

The Falcon cockpit looks good, too. Good visibility for the pilot.

I originally was going to use a Snowspeeder canopy and quickly realized it
was waaay to small for the rest of the ship. :)

The cockpit design is actually a nod to your VTOL model, Admiral, sir. :) I
like the idea of the drop snout cockpit, as it would give the pilots a
better view of the terrain as they're coming in for deployment.

Once the carried module/vehicle has been dropped off, the Condor has enough
armament to allow it to function in a ground support role.

The one area that will likely be revised would be the landing gear (no
comments, Muffin Head! <G>) but I need to get some more click hinges first.

*snicker*

I've also built a troop/cargo module for use when Scorpions aren't needed
for a mission:

Neat. :^) Kind of like a little forward outpost thing.

I wanted to have Command and Control and cargo modules to round out the
options for the whole system but I was running low on inverse slopes so they
got merged. Funny shapes tend to do that. :) I don't really "like" the front
of the module, but it had to match the silhouette of the tanks to properly
fit in the bay.

Lastly, I've uploaded pictures of the Scorpion units loaded into the Condor.
They are in the Scorpion folder:

Nicely done. :^)

Thanks again for the kind words.
