(...) Pretty slick, Travis. You definately have a knack for these things. Anyone that can virtually design a ship, especially this cool, has my admiration. If I don't have the bricks in front of me, I have a hard time figuring things out.. ;) I like (...) (24 years ago, 16-Mar-01, to lugnet.space)

         Re: new fighter —Travis Dickinson
Thanks. Actually, this is one of the rare cases where I built a rough version IRL first, starting with the cockpit. The only things I lacked were the engines. I try to test various design concepts with actual pieces when ever I can. Most of my (...) (24 years ago, 16-Mar-01, to lugnet.space)

        Re: new fighter —Mladen Pejic
Beautiful fighter Travis! I really like the overall shape and the sensor array, as well as the excellent use of mini-fig legs and miscellaneous tools (lightsaber). However, I do think this model would be better if you used another colour to (...) (24 years ago, 16-Mar-01, to lugnet.space)

WOW! I knew the Blacktron I colour scheme would make your fighter looks even better. Now I will resume drooling over this rendering: (...) (24 years ago, 17-Mar-01, to lugnet.space)

         Re: new fighter —Travis Dickinson
I originally made the color scheme almost solid black because I wanted one that was feasible. It would take some money to get the necessary pieces, but I felt that it would be possible (still do). I'll play around and see if I can find a scheme that (...)         Re: new fighter —Travis Dickinson
I added one image of the fighter in Blacktron II colors. The fins are gray, not white. That's due to the eight light sources in the pov file. I also named it the "Dark Nemesis" which is a combination of suggestions by Rick Hallman and Mladen. Travis (...) (24 years ago, 4-Apr-01, to lugnet.space)
