| [cross-posted to lugnet.technic for what will soon be obvious] G'day again folks, Okay here's another one. I bought a 6871 off eBay, and according to the instructions there should be 2 black TECHNIC axle pins (part# 3749? (URL) got grey ones (...) (23 years ago, 11-Feb-01, to lugnet.space)

| Hi Kyle, Yes, the pins were supposed to be black. I don't know of any other set that came with them, so replacing your gray pins with black might be a challenge. -Joel (...) (23 years ago, 12-Feb-01, to lugnet.technic)

| (...) G'day Joel, thanx for the info. Those pieces must be super rare then. So I guess in terms of "collector value" if you get that set without the black pins then you're really getting hosed. | (...) I have this set with two black axle pins. It's probably one of my rarest pieces, so I guess I would be annoyed to get gray ones instead (unless it was mentioned in the auction description) - David (23 years ago, 12-Feb-01, to lugnet.technic)
