Try the Adventurers' car hubs. They're spoked the entire way around and are
the same size as the Technic hubs you described. Only problem is that they
might not look "Spacey," they're a bit old fashioned looking.

| Are there any other wheel alternatives to "Centre Large" part #3482 (according to Brickbay) i.e. a 2x2 hub no wider than 1 stud. I am having problems with the hubs cracking under the weight of my model. Unfortunately, these wheels only have two (...) (24 years ago, 31-Dec-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.space)
