Unfortunately it was made out of red bricks and the pressure hull was
basically cylindrical instead of spherical. I used some boat hulls to
help form the backbone spine.

And no it didn't have a centrifuge, but it did have a HAL9000 :)

Our conversation on another thread got me thinking a little. Since it'll be 2001 in less than two weeks, has anyone thought about making anything from the movie? Or basing some MOCs off ideas from the movie? I already had the little monolith scene (...) (24 years ago, 20-Dec-00, to lugnet.space)
