Hence the need for a spaceworld. I'm quite happy to tuck my worlds into
someone else's universe for now. Although it would be nice to have a loose,
central timeline in which everyone tries to to adhere as closely to. This
way the spaceworld "companies" will be able to compete apples to apples.
There are people who, when viewing their ships, envision that a small craft
can level a large asteroid. Others consider the bulk required for engines,
life support, field generators, etc. And that's fine.
Maybe, when spaceworld is up and running, we can have a scorecard for each
company - people can vote for favorite designs based on certain factors -
this can represent the general publics view of the versatility of each
design. And this would represent "market demand" for each of the companies
products. It would be like having a mini wallstreet! People can submit
reports on competing factions.
But that's just a thought. :)
