Hmmm. The overall saucer shape is good (with the down-canted wings), and the
2x2 Racers slope really nailed the canopys shape (the original is louvered, and
painted black); but the engines arent quite right, IIRC. They are black, but
the originals are wide, short hexagons -- as if you took two Space 2x4 mudguards
and mounted them base-to-base. At this scale, 1x1 plates, base-out (concave
aft) could do it.
The 4L rods are definitely overdoing it -- the guns on the original are much
less prominent.
(For image references (if anyone needs them), just use cylon raider in Google
Images -- lots of useful results. Ooh, some
good photos of the
1979 Monogram model.)
