I am very excited about the new factory, especially the train factory

I would like to suggest that TLG take a serious look at the moonbase module and
castle wall standards. By this I mean that you should consider making some
reference to or a link or something to these standards.

Both of these standard would allow kids to create models that they could use
with their friends. The the standards are well thought out and tested standards
and are being actively used by hobbyists. Lots of examples on brickshelf

You could post some examples and simple starting modules.

Also have galleries of just moonbase of castle modules. maybe a contest

This could lead to a whole line of popular models especially in castle

Also the LEGO role players (RPGs using LEGOS) could create a standard set of
dungeon modules.

I would also like to suggest as an enhancement later that you allow user to
import the parts from an existing set. This would allow the user to create
enhanced or customized versions of existing sets. The set could be purchased or
not but the parts from the set would not be included in the factory product. An
example would be enhancing a train car like the Santa Fe

In a related Idea allow the user to start with one of a few standard ship hulls
or train under-carriages
