Homeworld or Homeworld 2? I might be able to assist... although Itd seem to
me if you can use blender to do it, why not make your models and use an ldraw
importer and go from there? (plus itd give you bricky bits for ship
breakups).

The mod is for Homeworld 1. Theres some limitations with the older graphics,
but the gameplay is much better, imo. I am using Blender to texture, and I used
it to model the ships. Due to poly constraints, using an importer is not
feasible. One imported 2x4 has 700 polys; my most complex model in the game is
2,000 polys. There are plans however for making explosions spawn brick debris,
perhaps even ship specific.
