Yes, I imagine many people saw it that way.

Actually as it turns out there are a few people who e-mailed me after
viewing the site. Some of them agreed with me on certain aspects, a
few others completely agreed with me. Funny thing that.

Sorry I tarnished anyone's tin God. Why don't you give it a rest
though, let him REST for God sakes.

Not at all. The only design which I consider to be flawless is the
Black Hawk. And only because I've spent roughly 4 years reworking and
redesigning it. My philosophy is that if you didn't spend at least 3
to 5 years on one Lego model you don't understand the perfection that
I expect from someone who tries to say they have something really
good.

This has nothing to do with my ego.

On the contrary my site has gained much publicity and traffic, an
unforeseen side effect. As for alienating myself, well, I can't say I
much care. If your friends aren't willing to accept and respect your
feelings and opinions then they aren't really your friends. I have no
fear of expressing the way I feel.

The irony of the situation makes what you said absolutely absurd.

| (...) Really, why is that? Most people consider behaving in a civil manner the mature thing to do. Posting messages saying "your site sucks" doesn't fall into the category of "civil" or "mature." ~Mark (24 years ago, 17-Oct-00, to lugnet.space)
