Re: What's the hardest part of an MOC?

(...) look (...) I'm (...) Oh yeah! I'm with you there. I can usually tell when I'm done when I tinker with the desing and make changes but then end up back where I started! Dave (20 years ago, 8-Mar-05, to lugnet.space)

Re: Whoa! What set is that piece in?!

Hey Daniel, Thanks for the reply. I actually have that set. The piece (or pieces) I'm referring to are referred to as coming from set #7236. Some type of new 2x4 bracket. I checked the Peeron inventory for the set but didn't see any piece listed (...) (20 years ago, 8-Mar-05, to lugnet.space)

  Re: X-Wing Mark IV

(...) Thank you. Yeah I have often had design issues by forcing a non-Lego shape with results that were far less then satisfactory. With this I felt that the chunkiness of the blocks would work as the basis for the design. Glad it worked! Thank you (...) (20 years ago, 8-Mar-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: X-Wing Mark IV

(...) Thank you. I agree about the canopy, it was not until the thing was finished that I notice the discrepancy -- but then again, it is a beefcaked-up version of the x-wing so I figured (hoped) that could justify the scaling issues. Thank you for (...) (20 years ago, 8-Mar-05, to lugnet.space)

  Re: X-Wing Mark IV

I would do anything to get some more technic figures, (...) (20 years ago, 8-Mar-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: MINIMUM-SPACE-POD

(...) You know Kotaro, I am French, and I leave in Taiwan, in a Chinese environment (and something of Japanese culture still remains here ;-)). English is not my mother tongue, like many of the posters on Lugnet. And I understand, I know that (...) (20 years ago, 8-Mar-05, to lugnet.space)

  Re: The "44"

(...) Ouch- you're killing me! Hmm, though it would be interesting to see how you make the translation. I see this model as defined by certain parts- the lattice wings and big curvy nose pieces in particular, and those would have to be done totally (...) (20 years ago, 7-Mar-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: The "44"

(...) The parts over the cargo space are a plate taller, so there would be a larger flat surface exposed above the radar dish. That could possibly be solved by mounting the dish differently and moving it up a bit, but the engineering gets (...) (20 years ago, 7-Mar-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: The "44"

(...) Gads, that's a horrible image. I was raised on Smokey and the Bandit, too. I was picturing more of a smuggler's broken-down freighter like in the Wild West episode of the original Battlestar Galactica, but I kind of like the Burt Reynolds (...) (20 years ago, 7-Mar-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)
